Local Membership
The Carnegie Center provides free membership for Jackson-Madison County residents. Whether you’re a long-time patron or someone who has just discovered us, this program offers fantastic perks including free admission to the museum and all its exhibitions, invitations to special events and previews, and first information drops about workshops, classes, and merchandise.

Classes and Workshops
With the help of so many talented local artists, The Carnegie offers a variety of classes throughout the year. From visual art to music to performing art, we aim to provide creative education for a variety of ages and skillsets.

Artist Residency
Calling musicians, bands, visual artists, theatre performing groups, and more to apply for the Carnegie Center for Arts and History Artist Residency Program. The residency is three months with the goal to encourage and support our Carnegie Artists.
Spring Classes & Workshops
Spring Children’s Art Classes
Young artists can explore creativity with hands-on projects inspired by the seasons. Led by the amazing Abby Wolfzorn, our classes for ages 5-8 and 9-12 are available this spring.
One on One Writing Classes
Songwriter and musician Joe Garner, also known as The Kernal, will hold one on one writing classes with community members. These free sessions are meant to help and inspire other writers to make the best work possible.
